Holiday Break The holiday break for the Bangor School District will run from Friday 12/22/23 through January 1, 2024. School will resume on January 2, 2024 for all students. During the break most district staff will be away while the contractors take advantage of the free space in both school buildings. In particular, a crane will be in place in front of the Middle/High School from December 26 – December 29. The road in front of the school will be closed 24 hours per day during this time for additional space needed to install roof trusses and roof decking on the new weight room facility. The crane will likely still be in place when we return from break but we do expect to have one lane of traffic open for busses before and after school. It would be best for families to plan to access the elementary from 14th Ave. and the MS/HS from 10th Ave. when we return from break. From the entire School District staff, I wish the entire community a very happy holiday season! David Brokopp Ph.D. Bangor Superintendent
