Bangor Elementary School has been ranked No. 179 in Wisconsin among the 2024 Best Elementary School rankings by U.S. News & World Report. The rankings include more than 79,000 public elementary and middle schools across the country. Schools are ranked at the state and district level, with Best Charter Schools and Best Magnet Schools ranked as stand-alone categories. The ranking of 179th is the highest among all other conference schools, bordering school districts, and all La Crosse county schools with the exception of one La Crosse School District school.
