Bangor was well-represented at the Wisconsin FCCLA State Leadership Conference earlier this week. Out of the 11 student competitors, seven scored in the top two of their category, which qualifies them to advance to compete at the National Leadership Conference in Seattle, WA this summer.

Megan Goede participated in the Say Yes to FCS Signing Ceremony for her future plans to go into Family and Consumer Sciences Education.
One last congratulations to Reesa Wiggins for her exceptional year as the Wisconsin FCCLA Vice President of Public Relations.
Throughout the week, Ms. Hooker was approached multiple times by other conference attendees saying how kind, respectful, polite, and supportive our Bangor students are. Overall, it was a very positive experience for the whole chapter!





Published authors! Over the winter the Spanish 3 class learned about fairytales. The students then wrote their own Spanish short stories which we sent off to be published into our very own book of fairytales! The students worked so hard on their stories and it was great to see the finished product when we received our hardcover book.


High School Government class and Middle School Personalized Learning completed some Community Service at our local park.

High school Painting class and the 7th grade Art class have brightened up halls by the art room with these black light lit neon sculptures (WE LOVE MS ART) and neon Landscape paintings.

The Bangor School District is excited to announce the hire of Ryan Stumpges as our new MS/HS Vocal Music Teacher. Please see his attached introduction letter.


There have been lots of exciting things happening for the Class of 2024 this week!
On Wednesday, Cody Petersen was honored as Bangor's 2024 La Crosse Kiwanis Scholarship recipient at a luncheon at the Radisson Hotel! Students from nine La Crosse County schools attended.
Nolan Langrehr and Emily Warsing, along with students from 10 other districts, were recognized at the La Crosse County Honors Banquet on Thursday night; student attendees made up the top 5% of their high school graduating class.
As we get closer to graduation, we take great pride in honoring these special students and can't see where their futures take them!

Congratulations to Wendy and Yolanda! They both received Honorable Mention for the Wisconsin Youth Art Month Flag design contest. Student from all over the state submit designs. One student was selected and eleven other students received honorable mention recognition as well. Students were recognized at the State Youth Art Show in Madison on March 22 at East Towne Mall.

Prom 2024 is April 13th.

Come check out the MS and HS artwork on display at the Bangor Public Library the next few weeks. Mrs Olson’s HS 3D class created animal relief sculptures out of cardboard and paper plates. 8th grade was inspired by Pop Artist Keith Haring and 6th grade created Zentangle Still-life drawings using marker and pastels


Mr. Lueck's and Ms. Lichtfuss' classes received a tour of the Sparta bridges, built by the community service group called The Shovelmen.
